Taunia Soderquist is a professional vocalist and voice

teacher in the greater Boston area. In addition to vocals,

she also plays piano and trumpet. She was educated at

U Mass Lowell and Berklee College of Music with studies in

music Business, music Performance, and vocal pedagogy.

Taunia has been actively performing for over 17 years as a solo jazz vocalist, with various vocal and chamber groups, bands, and as a sought-after studio vocalist. She’s won numerous “Best Vocalist” awards and is also an award-winning songwriter. Her recent award-winning

song “Tall, Dark, and Handsome” has become a bit of a cult-hit and has developed quite a following!

Taunia is active not only as a performer, but as an educator. She frequently lectures and gives masterclasses in addition to her regular private studio schedule. As a teacher, her focus is on contemporary voice training and vocal improvisation.
